MEHREGAN PRIZE CALLS
25-26 th. of Mehregan Prize Call
Mehregan Prize Secretariat office, calling for twenty fifth and twenty sixth courses of Mehregan Prize contest for the best selected Persian novels and short-story collections and mother-tongue novels and short-story collections, invites publishers and authors to send their works to the secretariat office of Mehregan Prize of Literature until September 23, 2025.
The publishers and writers can send three copies of every title of their first-print novels and short-story collections which have been published during 2023 and 2024 in Iran, and participate in this competition.
Moreover, overseas publishers and authors, whose first-print works have been published in the period of January 1st of 2024 to 31st of December 2025, may send PDF files or three copies of their works and attend this prize-competition.
Furthermore, novels and short-story collections having been printed in the cultural and geographic sphere of Iran, and then translated into Persian, may participate in the sixth and seventh courses of mother-tongue Mehregan Prize of literature. Thus, publishers and writers of mother-tongue area can send their published works in the period between 2021 to 2023 to the secretariat office up to the declared due time (31st of Shahrivar). It is worth mentioning that due to the lengthy process of assessing and declaring these works, a four-year process has been considered for this course of mother-tongue Mehregan-prize competition.
